Safeguarding

St Aldhelm’s Church takes its responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people and adults who may be at risk very seriously and works in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.

The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in Church activities
is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the church.

If you are concerned that someone you know could be at risk, or is being abused,
or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from our safeguarding officer, Rona, or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.

Our Parish Safeguarding policy is available on request.

If you have any safeguarding questions or concerns you can contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer, Rona Orme on 07850042230 or email activist1549@gmail.com in total confidence.
